2025 SCAFF Seven Colors Film Festival Introduction
SCAFF 2025 Film Festival will take place between Friday 14th – Sunday 16th November.
Established in 2013, the festival promotes cultural diversity through this platform of creative arts, performing arts and filmmaking and seeks to contribute to community harmony and intercultural awareness. SCAFF also aims to strengthen social, cultural, and economic ties between Victoria, Australia India, locally and globally. In addition to Feature, Short, Documentaries, Animated Film screenings and filmmaker. The festival will host talks and panel discussions around multiculturalism, diversity, and representation in the Australian film industry.
Registrations are now open for submission of films for SCAFF 2025.
Please Read Film Entry Rules & Regulations:
- The festival is free to enter, and is open to any form of film, any genre, or budget level.
- The duration for films upto 10 minutes is preferred, however more lengths will also be considered.
- Films are welcomed primarily from Victoria & Australia, however global filmmakers can also apply with comprise elements of these locales such as talent, crew, or locations.
- The Deadline for submissions of the application form along with online screener (such as You Tube/Vimeo) for the final round has been extended till Monday 10th November 2025. The selected films will be notified to the filmmaker.
- For selected films, final exhibition (digital HD) copies of the film MUST be received as advised. Finalist films can send files via WeTransfer, Dropbox etc.
- It is the responsibility of the submitter to ensure the correct contact email address and contact details are supplied to the festival.
- A separate entry form is required for each submission.
- Burned-in or subtitle track English subtitles required for any film which is in a language other than English.
- SCAFF decision is final and will not provide comments on films prior to selection, nor reasons for rejection of films.
- Selected films may be used for our festival trailer and stills may also be screened or published online to assist in promoting the festival.
- The submitter must have the legal authority to submit the film and to have the work screened publicly including any necessary permissions such as performance, music and image rights.
- By submitting their film all entrants are deemed to have read and agreed the rules and regulations governing the festival. In the event of any disagreement, the interpretation of the festival will take precedence.
- These rules and regulations are subject to change without prior notice.
- The festival reserves the right to withdraw or include selected films from the programme as necessary.
- SCAFF does not require any restriction on the exclusivity of submitted works. They may have been premiered or participated in other contests, festivals, or screenings, be available online, etc.
- The creators of the selected films are committed to give their best efforts to facilitate stills, posters and promotional materials, interviews, and news, for the promotion of the film screening at the festival, or to assist with Festival promotions
