Welcome to 2022 CMDI Children Music Dance of India. This Children’s Week activity is presented by SKGA Incorporated in partnership with the Victorian Government from 22nd – 30th October.
Since 2002, SKGA Inc aims to educate and entertain people of all cultures & ages via film, creative & performing arts. During the 2022 Children Week event, SKGA will demonstrate the finer elements of Indian classical music and dances with various vocal and breathing techniques, happy dance moves of bollywood, Indian traditional and bhangra dancing, energetic drumming notes with clapping.
SKGA will introduce children to the fundamentals of music, dancing, and drumming at a young age. It provides the foundation for any children pursuing at a later age. The aim of our presentation is to develop a sense of musical expression and creativity in children through Indian music while promoting cultural diversity, intercultural awareness, and multiculturalism.
Our activities will provide children and their families an opportunity to participate in a range of singing notes, vocal and breathing techniques, various steps in sitting and standing positions, drumming notes, beats, and rhythms along with children’s music. Will engage all the children in our music and dance online workshops while recognizing their talent, participation in cultural and community activities, their past achievements in the social and arts sector. It will also bring children of various cultures to one platform online to experience and share their passion, interest, initiatives, sharing, and freedom of expression among various cultures and communities.
Children with their parents will enjoy the power of Indian music and culture, will find a great way to bond via various activities during these zoom session, online workshops. It will have fun activities and explores various musical concepts in a manner that is simple to comprehend. It will instil the importance of self-discipline and social skills in children.
