Music Cultural

SKGA group’s themes lie in CREATIVITY and DIVERSITY where we provide education, sessions, classes, and workshops to promote Indian Cultural Heritage such as music, dance, language, film and arts.

Since 2006, built upon these two themes, we are running SKGA LANGUAGES & CULTURAL EDUCATION classes independently and supporting CAPACITY BUILDING and PARTICIPATION PROGRAM.

Using our deep and rich history in Indian and South Asian cultural arts, we plan to reach the multicultural youth, seniors, refugees, women through classes, workshops and community seminars that educate with music, dance, languages and all relevant art forms.

The issue, need or concerns our organisation address are multi-cultural awareness & appreciation, ongoing cross-cultural participation and the celebration of multi-cultural arts. We initiate participation from young people, particularly in the performing arts and creative arts such as music, dance, languages, film involving all ages groups, faiths & ethnicities.

Ultimately, we want to promote a deeper understanding, love & understanding of cultures through these tools. Organising such SKGA activities ongoing, we aim to support the Victorian Government’s multicultural vision and priorities, providing opportunities to all cultures and diverse communities to celebrate, preserve and share traditions in meaningful ways fostering cross-cultural awareness.
